By purchasing, obtaining, or using a QuiltCon ticket or pass, you agree to the following:

By attending QuiltCon or any part of QuiltCon, you agree to allow the Modern Quilt Guild (“The MQG”), its agents, licensees or assignees, the right to use your image and/or likeness in media now known or hereafter devised for advertising and/or other promotional purposes. You also agree not to take pictures or videos where posted or announced as prohibited and agree that any permitted photos or videos will not be used for any commercial purposes and will not be made publicly available or generally displayed without the prior written consent of the MQG.

Attendees are expected to follow event code of conduct rules at all times.

Although the MQG makes efforts to ensure the purchase of QuiltCon lectures, workshops, and passes is easy, efficient, and equitable, the MQG makes no guarantee, warranty, or representation that, by logging onto the QuiltCon and/or the MQG website with an MQG Member ID, you are entitled to or will be able to purchase a QuiltCon workshop, lecture, or show pass. Due to the limited number of seats in workshops and lectures and the large number of MQG members, workshop and lecture seats are sold as long as they are available. Please be advised that QuiltCon workshops and lectures sell out very quickly. Not all persons eligible to purchase a workshop or lecture will be able to do so due to capacity. Additionally, the MQG makes no guarantee, warranty, or representation that the MQG and/or QuiltCon registration website will function properly throughout the registration process. In the event that the registration website malfunctions, the MQG will try to rectify the problem in a timely fashion with the technology providers. Notwithstanding, by using the MQG, QuiltCon, and/or registration website you agree that in no event shall the MQG, its principals, agents, representatives, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to damages resulting from the use of the website or the registration process. 

The purchase of a four-day show pass is required in order to register in advance for lecture and workshop seats. MQG members who are logged in will see the price of the four-day show pass as zero during checkout when registering through November 30, 2022.

Single-day show tickets will be available for purchase on December 1, 2022.

THE MQG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.

The above terms & conditions apply to all QuiltCon show pass/ticket purchases and registrations. Registrations for exhibitors, press, vendors, attendees, faculty, volunteers, and staff may be subject to additional restrictions outlined during the online registration process. 

COVID-19 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, LIABILITY WAIVER, AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

While the Modern Quilt Guild, (“The MQG”) cannot guarantee that its attendees will not become infected with COVID-19, The MQG will, at a minimum, comply with all state and local requirements, including, masking, social distancing, limiting attendance, postponing an event and/or canceling an event, if required.

The MQG reserves the right to modify safety requirements or limits for attending or participating in activities. Up-to-date safety guidelines will be posted on the QuiltCon website at all times.

By participating in anything at QuiltCon, each attendee acknowledges they derive a benefit from such participation and agrees to the following:

DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR

Attendee agrees to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and agrees to contact The MQG/QuiltCon if they experience COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days after participating in an activity.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK

Attendee acknowledges and understands that participation in an activity includes health risks including possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce these risks, the risk of serious illness and death does exist. Attendee knowingly and freely assumes all health risks associated with participation in an activity, even if such risk is caused by the negligence or fault of the released parties.
