QuiltCon Volunteer Policy

1. All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
2. All volunteers must agree to the volunteer waiver before their first volunteer shift.
3. Volunteers must wear a QuiltCon volunteer shirt during volunteer shifts.
4. Volunteers may be photographed during their time as a volunteer and such photographs may be utilized by the MQG for promotional purposes.
5. Volunteers may be reassigned to tasks other than those they signed up for at any time, based on the event’s needs. 
6. Volunteers are expected to arrive on time and depart their shifts on time.
7. Volunteers must calculate and track their own hours.
8. Volunteers who work 16 or more hours during QuiltCon are entitled to early registration for the next QuiltCon.
   These super volunteers must be members to take advantage of early registration.
9. Professionalism and respect are expected at all times. Failure to treat others with respect and in accordance with the MQG Community Guidelines may result in removal from the volunteer program.
